Bio

Ben accepts briefs across a broad range of criminal, regulatory, administrative and civil matters.

Before being called to the bar, Ben was a Principal Solicitor with the NSW Department of Customer Service, where he conducted prosecutions and regulatory litigation on behalf of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and SafeWork NSW.

Prior to that he was a Senior Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP), where he prosecuted offences including money laundering, fraud, cybercrime, war crimes and online offending.

Ben has also practiced at a specialist Local Government and Planning firm, where he worked on administrative and civil litigation in the Land and Environment Court, Supreme Court and Local Court.

Ben commenced his legal career as a criminal defence solicitor, regularly appearing as advocate in the District Court and Local Court in defended hearings, sentences and appeals.
